Cox Models for Vehicular Networks: SIR Performance and Equivalence

We introduce a general framework for the modeling and analysis of vehicular networks by defining street systems as random 1D subsets $\mathbb{R}^{2}$. The system, in turn, specifies intensity measure Cox process vehicles, i.e., vehicles form independent Poisson point processes on each street. Models this Coxian can characterize streets different lengths orientations forming intersections or T-junctions. be infinite finite mutually dependent. analyze reliability communication models, where is probability that vehicle at an intersection, T-junction, location receive message successfully from transmitter certain distance. Further, we notion equivalence between which means representative model used proxy other models terms reliability. Specifically, prove stick process-based network equivalent to line lilypond model-based networks, their rotational variants.
